Is the club page really free?
Yes. Publishing a live public page with scores, results and team records is free for every club. Public pages can appear in the directory and search. The paid Club tier adds featured placement, a custom address, colours, crest and sponsor presentation. It never buys the page itself.
What do the paid tiers actually buy?
Paid plans add analysis, presentation and organisational capacity. Coach gives an authorised coach analysis across a squad. Club adds branding, featured directory placement, and two named Coach seats per team: six seats on the £99.99 band, sixteen on £149.99. Player Pass is a pilot for deeper personal insight. Your matches, results and records stay free on every plan.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
Every match you score stays in your history. If a subscription ends, paid analysis and branding switch off, but your results remain available. Tournament sites bought outright remain public.
Can Coach analyse matches we scored before we upgraded?
Yes, wherever the match was tagged. Every metric is derived from the match's own event log, so upgrading reads back the whole back catalogue rather than starting a new one. The exception is a result entered by hand after the fact: it counts towards your record, but there is no point-by-point log behind it for the analysis to read.
Is it safe for a club with juniors?
Public pages use team-level results by default. Player names and milestones stay inside the club and are visible only to members. Adult clubs can choose a different public-name setting when they have the right consent.
Who actually does the scoring?
One person scores courtside on their phone, usually a parent or a player who is off. Each point takes one tap. The app does not use a camera or try to score the match automatically.
Can we add matches we played before volleyOS?
Yes. Enter the set scores of a past match by hand and it joins your history and your season records. There is no point-by-point log behind a back-entered result, just the scoreline and the winner, but it counts towards your record like any other match.
Does everyone need to install something?
Only whoever is scoring. Everybody else (parents, teammates, the group chat) opens a link in the browser they already have. No camera, no video stream, no upload: what travels is the score, which is why anyone can follow from a link and why it survives a bad hall connection.
